The Catholic Education Services Board and The Catholic Education Services Staff are tasked with overseeing all the Special Character dimensions of the Private Schools Integration Act 1975.

Mission Statement of the Board
The Catholic Education Services Board will preserve, maintain, develop and enhance the Special Character of schools in the Diocese.

Vision
Every school will manifest in its Community a living Catholic Character within the context of its founding charism.

Goals

1. Staffing

To ensure all school staff uphold the Catholic Special Character.

2. Professional Services:

To ensure the provision of advisory services to uphold the Special Character

3. Special Character:

To ensure schools continue to develop Catholic Special Character.

4. New Schools:

To support the establishment of any new schools in areas identified by the Diocese to meet the needs of Catholic students in the region.

5. Relatedness to other Boards:

To come together in a spirit of co-operation with The Auckland Common Fund Ltd.
